Thinking about reserving a room at the AP? Here's what to do to go from "interested" to having a room waiting for you.
1. First things, first. Use the contact form to get in touch with me (click here for a popup contact form), let me know your dates, and I'll quickly respond if your proposed move in works for me (ie isn't going to force me to keep a room empty for several months in order to help you out). Once I reply that you're cleared hot on reserving the room, you can skip to step two below to reserve the room. Or if you still want more information or want to talk with current residents to get the skinny then simply register here on this website. I then will give your account access so you can see some extra information on here including the Resident Expectations. Just realize until you complete step two below, you don't have the room and the rooms in this house typically go pretty quickly.
2. Once you're convinced that you're getting a good deal and have been given the Green Light by me, you can reserve a room by going to PayPal.Com and sending $99 to mail@aviatorpalace.com. Until you successfully do so your room is not guaranteed. There is no other way to pay the deposit and it's best if you use your credit card via PayPal because that is how you will be expected to make your monthly rent payments, as well. The $99 is credited in full to your first month's rent. Once you make the payment the room is yours and you'll shortly thereafter see your initials in the Availability grid.
3. If your TDY is changed or cancelled you will get your money fully refunded.
4. If you decide you want to stay somewhere else for whatever reason you can either stay at my house for $99 worth of days and then move out or you can simply forfeit your money. Think of it as "placeholder insurance" if you're using my house for your "what if" contingency plans. I realize some bros want to live together and the AP may not have enough rooms available, etc. If you're using my place in such a manner, that's no harm/no foul but if you can let me know that will be helpful so I can let other guys know who may be interested in staying if you change your mind. But no issues if you keep that info close hold.
5. Once you pull the trigger and reserve a room, your initials will show up in the Availability Grid indicating the room is guaranteed. You will then be emailed the AP Welcome Guide and your userid and pin code for entry will be sent to you within a week of your lodging start date.
